Shipping & Returns

 

Shipping


All orders placed at Discount Fishing will be shipped from our warehouse location in Lloydminster, Alberta.  We do not offer local pickup of any orders.  Shipping rates are based on size and weight of the shipment and will go out via Canada Post.  We do a large volume of product and you will find that our shipping rates compare favorably with other online retailers.  We do not charge extra based on the $ value of your order like some companies.  You simply pay the amount that Canada Post charges us for the size and weight of the shipment!


Most weekday orders placed before noon (Mountain time) will ship the same day.  Orders placed after noon may ship the same day or the next day.  Orders placed on the weekend will ship the next working day.  Tracking numbers will be provided via email.  The tracking number will not work until Canada Post picks it up and scans it.  Please allow at least a day after your item should’ve shipped before inquiring about a tracking number.


In some cases we may ship out items in two separate packages.  This may be to avoid oversize charges or inventory slotted to arrive a few days after your order is placed.  Rest assured that we will always ship in the best possible way to save the customer money.  Shipping charges will not be refunded unless we made an error on your order or if the product is defective.  We are not responsible for shipping charges on the customer end for any returns.

 

Refunds/Exchanges

We strive to achieve the highest level of customer appreciation.  If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will allow for refund or exchange of any item in new and re-saleable condition within 30 days of the original purchase.  Any items returned must have original packaging and accompanying documents contained within in order to receive a full refund.  Shipping charges will not be covered by Discount Fishing for any return of items for refund or exchange.  Additional shipping will be charged for shipping of any new items in exchanging a customer’s previous purchase.
    

To initiate a return simply click on the 
“Refund/Exchange” tab at the top of our website or click this line. 

 

Fill in the form indicating why you are returning the item and other necessary fields.  You will be contacted by our staff via email with a Return Authorization (RA) number.  Once you have this number make sure to clearly mark the outside of your return package with it.  WE WILL REFUSE ANY PACKAGE THAT DOES NOT HAVE A “RA” NUMBER WRITTEN CLEARLY ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX.  The RA number helps us to quickly process all items received and get your refund or exchange to you as quickly as possible.
